Ballard Canyon is a nice little 18 mile bike ride. You start at firestone Brewery in Buellton and make a loop out through Solvang, Santa Ynez and back through Ballard Canyon and the Rusack Vinery. Like most of California, GREEN in the winter, and dead brown all other times.
